Lincs2work is the Council’s Travel Plan – a Travel Plan encourages sustainable travel and it promotes travel choice. The benefits of a Travel Plan are that it reduces congestion, improves air quality, encourages you get fitter, and it shows that the Council is involved in mitigating its impact on the local environment.

If you’re thinking ‘that’s great, but I can’t change the way I travel all the time’, then don’t worry. It is all about little change – big impact! If you can only car share once a week then you are reducing the commuting trips of either yourself, or of your car sharer by 20% a week. If everybody did that, then this will have a significant impact on the local environment.

Think of it this way; less emissions, less petrol used, and more money in your pocket!

But if you can car share all the time, watch the savings roll in!
